How to mark posts as read

Post by ppeters914 »

After I login, I can click the "View all posts since last visit" link to, well, view all posts since the last time I logged in. I can also click the "Mark all forums read", but that doesn't affect the "View all....." option.

I don't want to read all the posts since my last visit. I want to somehow remove them from "my last visit" list. Right now, I have to click and hit every post to get 'em off the list.

Any idea if that can be done? Thanks.
Pete

Pete,

I intend to remove the chat box due to lack of use. When I installed it messed up the ability to see "what was new since your last logon" and the "mark all as read" features. Hopefully when I remove it those functions return. You are not the first to ask these questions. Cheers.

Ahhhhhh, I didn't know that. Good to know that you're already aware of it.

I don't see anything in the changelogs, but maybe upgrading from phpBB 2.0.8 to 2.0.10 would fix it. Couldn't hurt. :)
