Never been on the Sabine but I could put up with the snakes, just not the skeeters. I could never figure out why Mother Nature would kill off the dinosaurs and leave those bloodsuckers!
I'm working on the convertible top frame issue and will certainly let you know when I get all my parts together. I WILL get back to you on that.

Will get some pics of the '68 1600 and Bugeye when I can move the lawn mowers, airplane parts, and stuff out of the way. Got pics of today's acquisition ('67 1600) on another thread. All three are resto projects and the '68 and BE are not pretty at all but, from what I've read here, pics is pics and they're all welcome. So, I'll work on that.

I wish! I'm guessing you're thinking Stinson, Stearman, maybe WACO. No such luck. They're Fisher ultralight parts. One wing is hung above the Bugeye from the rafters, awaiting its mate, and fuselage parts distributed here and there. Long story. Anyway, I would love to get my rotor wing rating 'cause, to me, a light heli would be excellent in these boonies.

Thanks for the avatar work. I'll try to get a better one up when I get some work done on one of them. I am currently collecting (after I find them) some parts (mostly 2000 parts and redundant 1600 parts) to put on the 'Classifieds' thread in case someone on the site can use them. When I get that done, I plan to donate to the site 'cause you guys are doing a heck of job keeping Datsun roadster folks together and providing a platform for us.
