oh, very cool! i look forward to the documentation on the coilovers! the more i think about it, the more that makes sense... I may try to duplicate your setup eventually... I am working on the brakes right now, and still haven't gotten to the engine!

one step at a time, i guess! i am looking forward to more!!!

The subject of the thread specifically states the engine type. That is why it got the focus of the discussion...
Yep! And though it was not mentioned to be answered, the reason a "sane" person would put carbs on this engine is because the stock intake is a limiting factor on producing high power on this particular motor. You could choose to go individual throttle bodies if you want to stay injected, but that gets even more complicated as now you need a stand alone EFI set up. A simple, effective and less expensive way of making power here is to run side drafts as was amply demonstrated to me on the 12 valve race car I mentioned. Was not dissing you or your car.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread, just talkin cars here... I'll shut up now.

I just wish I could get/keep my entire garage area this clean! Usually I can only get about a 3 square foot area clean at a time!
I think the car is going to look bitchin with 2 wheels per corner, very rad!! :smt003

Seriously, I look forward to more on the thread, looks like a great project, thanks for keeping us in the loop.

Dont tell Alvin about the coil overs. He's holding out on some good wheel offset info.

Not sure how to post a larger pic. Will do a complete suspension set pic,the string is for measuring the rack and pinion. What part of the suspension were you looking for mor info on?

Would like to see more detail of the front and rear coil over arrangement.
Also, What does that do the overall ride height?
