I added the valve cover decal, something I've never done before is print my own decals...it turned out okay.
Also added the breather on top, the warning label on the radiator cap.
In the last pic hopefully you see the "welds" on the hot pipe

haha if it were 1/12 scale I'd be all over the clamps, even bolt heads. 1/24 is tough, at least for me
thanks for watching!

Working on the dash, I added the old-school Auto-Meter memory tach, stock speedo and Defi gauges, a bit janky but it kind of works

This particular kit has both the L24, and twincam S20 drivetrains...possibilities are endless
Here is the last 240z I did with the L24 and triple mikuni's

That is just amazing to me. It's no wonder your car looks so amazing, the attention to detail is nothing short of incredible. I wish I had half the patience you must have!
Really impressive work!

The detail is amazing, you should put a dime or something in the picture so we can realize the magnitude of your work!
Amazing.

Alvin-when you print the decals, do you use a program to take a snapshot of the desired printing and reduce it in size (something like Photoshop maybe) or do you use a cad or lettering program to recreate the decal?
I was into RC airplanes for several years and fooled with diy decals, had some success but lots of failures.

photoreduction is common
that is exactly what I do, take a picture and reduce it with ImageJ freeware.
Problem is printing the decals. An ALPS printer is the gold standard with results that are on par or better than what the actual kits supply. They are very expensive imho.
I use waterslide decal paper made for inkjets but the results are so so on my $50 printer

just doing the body stuff like lights and chrome trim. I love how Fujmi treats the tail lights...separate lense on a chrome backing...just used black ink for the recessed portion:
