fuel line vent

Post by JohnnyRoadster »

I could not figure out why everytime I filled the tank it would leak. Well it turns out that the vent hose was dry rotted out and not connected, so if the tank was full the fuel splashes out. Does anyone know the size of this and does it have to be fuel hose, or can it be rubber.

I have a 67.5 1600

fuel line

It should be a line that will not be impacted by the corrosive nature of gasoline. That leaves quite a variety. Good luck. Sam

I believe it is 1/4". Pretty standard stuff at even the chain autoparts stores.
