My Yoko's are hard and dated.

Choices are getting pretty slim. I think you have the Kuhmo V710s, Hoosiers, and the Toyo RA1s. I'd guess you will get the best life out of the RA1s on the track. The 710s will work well, but they won't last as long. The RA1s only come in a 205/55/14. The Hoosier Street TD is a bias ply vintage spec tire, but its pretty good. Its a fun tire once you get used to the feel of them. They are not as fast as a RA1 either.

I would suggest the RA1 too, I run them on my roadster. Have them shaved, and you will be very happy with them as they just keep getting better, I have yet to heat cycle a set out.

If they are just rubbing a little, you can roll the fender out, or take a body hammer to the inside of the fender right where the clean metal/scuff marks are and reshape it to clear without affecting the outside paint (to a degree).

I like the RA-1's better than hankooks. I agree with Will. Rolling the fender slightly will solve the problem. I could probably fit 225's under my car.

What wheels are you running and what is their offset? That could also effect your rubbing problem.

Should you elect not to roll your fenders, 205x60x14 Hoosiers work well and will fit easily as they are much narrower than the 205x55's.

Roadsters with 225s on just look mean.

Unfortunately, they rub about 1.5" up inside. The fender is already rolled. Must be the rim offset if ya'lls fit.

If its only 1.5"s up, you might be able to work the insides of the fender in that area to clear. I did a lot of work to mine in order to clear the big tires. Now, Hoosier Street TD 205s clear with lots of room with my +9 offset Hayashis, and my +1 14x7 Panasports will clear 225s. Before this however I couldn't clear a 205 on the Hayashis, and I might have had issues even with my Libres.

I run panasports that clear my car with room to spare. Les Cannaday can tell you what the offset is, for these wheels.
