Not a problem, but a question

I know that a gray car means no new posts, and a red car means posts, but there are variations among those which I have not figured out. Can you tell us what the different icons mean?

Excellent question, I hadn't made the connection as you have.
What about a small legend with all the little icons showing what they do or some form of explanation.

There is a legend of sorts at the bottom of the main board index page.

I didn't know about that legend. I normally log in through a bookmark that takes me to "Active Posts" and as such didn't see that legend.

But there are also some icons with dots, which I presume mean whether I've posted to thread or not, but can't confirm that.

That doesn't explain them all though. There are some with the car at an angle, some with the car head on, and even a Datsun logo. There are variations of some of those as well. Some have a flag(?) on the back of the car, others on the front. Like I said, not a huge deal but a curiosity.
