James Parker of SOCALROC classifieds

Post by g12080 »

When a buyer purchases an item online, that buyer places a level of trust in the seller's description. James Parker is abusing that trust, and I would recommend that you know exactly what you are getting (inspect the item before paying) before doing business with this seller. I am not saying that you should not do business with this individual, only that if you choose to do business, you should proceed with caution.

I have purchased dozens of items through craigslist, ebay and classifieds on this forum for my 1967 1600 and have always been pleasantly surprised at the quality and price of these items.

I am sorry you had a bad expeirence with this guy. But Don't blame SoCalROC. We don't do back ground checks one people. We only offer this as a service. Though it is not up dated often. We are not responsible for the legitimacy of a seller. He is not a part of SoCalROC. Besides, this guy hasn't been on those Classifieds for some time now.

I don't see where any call-out or question of SoCalROC was mentioned?!?!
Is there more background story here?

EDIT: Sorry, missed that the mention was in the title - but it wasn't in the message.

To clarify my previous post:
SOCALROC bears no responsibility in this deal gone awry.
SOCALROC merely provides a marketplace for sellers and buyers to meet.
I appreciate SOCALROC for providing this service.

The only reason I mentioned SOCALROC in my posting is to identify where I encountered this seller. I wanted my warning to be clear and concise. I am sorry if my warning in any way harmed the reputation of SOCALROC, this was not my intent.
