I scored this off craigslist the other week and was wondering about the rear window seal and how far back the glass sits, i have noticed water sitting in the channel and not draining away. Am i missing something or do the rear windows sit counter sunk like that.
Here are a couple of pics. It's a little hard to see the profile, sorry.
That's a really interesting top, I like it!
It looks like the design is inherent to hold water to me, the gasket is a simple one that looks like you need to be facing uphill for good drainage!
I hope you keep that roadster covered! Those giant rain holes that used to be taillights look like a lot of rust waiting to happen in the trunk and lower quarters!!

"When all else fails, force prevails!" Ummm, we're gonna need a bigger hammer here.
Years ago, a friend had one of these for his MG. It had padded vinyl over the fiberglass, looked great. I recall the back window being recessed.

That sounds like a smoking deal Sid, the tail lights would probably be the easiest thing i have to do to the roadster. I'll sell you the old broken hardtop sitting next to it for $200 (because i know how much you like these)
Hey, you asked for a price. You can't expect the first bid to be the final bid. Oh, that red smiley lowers my opening price to $125 delivered (you can leave the lights in the trunk)
I have a hardtop similar to the one that you have leaned up by the fence, but it is in California, and I am in Florida. Now if I could only figure out how to get it here from there...
So you are serious..
