So I suddenly see the same item that I bidded on show up again. It's funny but I seem to be taken out by the same bidder time and time again (even with Esnipe). Low and behold I check the sellers feedback left for others and this guys name doesn't appear. He outbid everybody on about 10 different items yet his name never shows up?
Cmon this aint right
Not sure what you mean by Feedback if the fix was in ? why not at least leave postive feedback since the sale was closed for seller and buyer. Also if you get outbidded maybe its just that someone else wanted the parts a little bit more than you. Other people can use snipers too. Just doesnt make sense to pay all the fees as well as value fees then not sell anything. Now im sure ther are scammers out there so you do have to be careful. but if your not out the $ whats the problem? Also you have venders who carry many of these items of course you tend to pay a bit more. NO risk but you pay for that. E-bay gotta love it gotta hate it. I dabble with E bay and am very wary gotten burned a couple of times but have to say all in all im glad its there cause if not we all would be paying premium prices.
Mark: I don't know about the specifics that you speak of above. Let me tell you of something that I became aware of on ebay last year.
There were a couple of different items being sold. I subsequently contacted each bidder (as so stated on ebay). All 7 (seven) of them indicated that they had no idea what I was talking about nor had any of them bid on the items. I'm not sure what to make of that, but it is aggravating and enlightening.
Well from my dealings with ebay and bidding I find it's alot less stress full to go ahead and bid the max that I am willing to pay. If I win I win if not oh well there will be another in a few weeks....hopefully. If it's something I can't live without then what does it matter at the cost if it's lower than premium?
Now Ratster I know what you speak of....no it aint right just keep a list of the seller and don't even bother with his stuff I do. I'm not even going to guess on how many roadster ebay sellers are registered on here but if we all start keeping a list on those sellers who just keep putting up their items and using another ebay account to drive up the bid, if we boycot those sellers who's it going to hurt?

You can also report any wierd activity to eBay. They investigate (in their free time) and kick the offenders off. Not to say that they can't sign up again, but it is a start.
