Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I've got some additional information that might be of some use to someone, somewhere.

I put a level on the garage floor, then on the floorboards on both sides of the car. The bubble was the same for all three locations. That means the floorboards are parallel to the ground, even though the car looks like it's squatting. Kinda like the "reverse rake" of the latest iteration of the Thunderbird.

So I think I'll see how it goes before I do anything about lowering the front.
