Hello, I’m new here. My mom is the original owner of a 69 2000. She bought the car off a dealer as a “demo� car. Assume back in the day that was basically the dealers test drive vehicle?
I’m 31 and as a result of layoffs found my self back home for the summer and figured I’d tinker with the roadster. My auto mechanic experience, for the most part has been spent fixing up my 66 Ford Bronco. This is an easy and relatively inexpensive vehicle to work on. Looks like I’ll have to spend some time familiarizing my self with this Fairlady

Hey Welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a pretty friendly bunch and always willing to help. Do not worry about asking too many questions or questions that have been asked before. We were all roadster newbys at one time or another. I think you will find these little cars are pretty easy to work on. Parts are not real cheap but hey-at least we can still get most of them. Enjoy and ask away.

I doubt there's many one-owner cars on the list. I trust (hope) Mom kept it in pretty good shape.
If you haven't done so yet, please get the VIN and register the car on this site. Nice to know where all the toys are.

Welcome to the fray!! You have tapped into what is arguably the best repository of Roadster information on the net. You will find the crowd very willing to help. Like any forum where ideas and opinions can be posted, you will get everything from golden knowledge to random, unconnected thoughts. Hopefully though, you will receive more of the former rather than the latter.
I can tell you that there are some very knowledgeable folks on the Forum that are more than willing to share their information. These are great cars, but they do have some quirks and unique issues. As Steve said, parts can get pricey, but most of it is still available. The vendors are working hard to keep the parts available.
Ask away with any and all questions! The only dumb question is the one not asked!
