Also do 15x7 wheels fit ok on a roadster?

Hey Matt,

I'm using a 15x7 wheel. Last time the wheel was off, using straight-edges, we measured it to have an ~22mm offset.

The wheels are wrapped with 195/50/15 tires on a Roadster with stock "narrow" fender arches in the front and rear.

I am looking at Yahoo! Auction in Japan and the offsets are listed as "+" or "-" a number. What should I be looking for? I remember that the 240Z that I have is a "+/- 0" offset for normal fenders.

15x7 seems to vary between one roadster and another.

My roadster fits 15x6 (+18) I think, racing panasport with a 205-50-15 race tire. I don't know what the advantage of a 15x7 with a 195-50-15 would be on a larger rim.

Anything positive from "0" to "22" should be safe but your fender flares, ride height, and inner frame will be limiting factors
Also do 15x7 wheels fit ok on a roadster?
it depends on everything listed above! yeah quite a few roadsters are running them
if you are running a panasport i can help you with offset. Eddie has a great example on his '66
take a look at the panasport thread above

I am in Australia. The ones here we can use are usually superlite 15x6 +12. I have found a few other brands like Rota B and XXR http://www.aaimotorsports.com.au/xxrwhe ... _513.shtml that do at a minimum 15x7.

What offset do you use on the panasports?

15x6 +12 will fit fine for the superlites

Be careful with the 0 offset rotas/konigs/xxr wheels.

for panaports, typical fitment is 14x6 or 15x6 in +15
I've used 15x6 +10
16x7 +11 is common as well

type in "offset calculator" in google

I'm actually starting to explore this venue for race tires. Since I can clear a 225/50/14 with my Panasports and a 205/50/14 with my Hayashis I ahve some room to move. I found a source for cheap/free tires that should be fairly renewable, but the tires are about equal to a 215 something. They are designed for a 15X8 wheel, but I think they would work with a 15X7.
