Minilite style weights?

Post by silvertiger »

Could someone let me know who make the lightest weight minilite style wheel(Rota,Panaracer)? I'm thinking of going with a 15x6 or 15x7. The wheels are going on a 68 1600. Thanks

Panasport has the best wheels. The Rotas are ok looking but I don't know how strong they are. Also Panasport has the correct offset and backspacing for a roadster. Rota, Konig and the like have similar wheels but the offset and back spacing is wrong.

The Superlites are comparable, aren't they?

I think the Superlites are a few pounds heavier per wheel. I could be wrong but I thought they were about 16lbs each. My Panasports in a 14x7 are 13. I think the Panasports look better as well. There is just something about the shape of the spoke that doesn't do it for me with the Superlites.
