Great site! It about time I suppose. Some of you foks may know me but my name is Michael and I am a former Roadster owner. Although I am not currently an owner I feel as if I may be "falling off of the wagon" soon.
I hope to get back into the Vintage Racing scene in the future. Plans...? An early 1600 gutted out with just a racing seat, safety gear and a "Big Azz" tachometer. Yes... 60's Nismo products too with a touch of "Sharp Technologies"
I have been cruising the site for a week of so and it is nice to see familiar names.
Your previsouly owned 67.5 2000 was the car that inspired me to get my own 67.5 2000. I am so glad that you are considering getting back into the world of Datsun Roadsters. They do get under your skin don't they?
You will get bitten by the bug again. I'd love to turn you loose with my car at Sears Point on one of your track days. I'm down to see how it will do against high priced things. Oh yeah, I'll buy a camera mount for the roll bar. (I'd still like to see the video of the battle with the Ferrari.)

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!
Odd I seem to recognize a few people on here. I really should post up last weekends road trip story. "Hmm... there is a 1600 in NM that looks interesting.... "
I too love 911's but... I'll be celebrating 21 years of continuous roadster ownership in exactly 2 weeks. You can't keep away from these things.
Calspeed - not to start something from the opposite coast but I seem to remember our beloved moderator Steve thinking about selling his 1600 race car.... Hmmm....
