Some roadsters but mainly Zs, 1200s and 510. I love the cream 2 door 510. enjoy.

A little bit of info from the 2009 DatNats to warm the hearts of roadster owners - the sprint section was timed over three laps, from a standing start. There was only three seconds difference (yep, one second per lap) between the two cars below. The roadster still runs a U20, and managed 9th outright  . So much for 40 years of progress

How prepped is the U20? Good to see either way!

I would imagine the whole car is extremely well developed - it has been raced in this form since new (or near new) apparently  . I did talk to the owner but also spoke to plenty of other people, so can't remeber the exact details of the roadster other than the fact that it has a tremendous amount of history. I was unfortunate that I was in the group that immediately followed the roadster on the track. I was always sitting on the dummy grid while it was on the track, so I didn't get a good look at it racing. Certainly sounded great as it roared down the straight past me sitting on the dummy grid though :smt003

I was in my Datsun 510 track car, and was around 35 seconds slower than the roadster

The R35 GTR is also a race car rather than a road car with a few stickers.

The red car is raced by Jason Lea. It was modified for racing by Doug Mingay, and has had quite a few variations in body, but the motor is the original U20 from the factory. Not bad for a 40 year old motor!

In a thread on ozdat Jason gives a bit of history about the car:
