I'm hoping this show will be unique with our roadsters to Z's to G's and everything else inbetween. Let me know if you have questions, and yes of course Datster will be there. :D

I would consider going if not for the "import tuner" in the title. I just don't care for that crowd, and the crowd it attracts. Too old I guess.

Yeah, but there might be some nice GTR's to drool over. Also to compare the attention you get vs "that crowd's" cars. :smt003

LOL I would think that Mark is the epitome of an "Import Tuner", haven't you modified a Mitsu, Datsun, and now a Honda?

You know as well as I do, they are 2 different things. I will allow anyone to call me a "import tuner" when I start throwing the outrageous body kits on with the full underbody neon, pulling the rear seats for speakers and filling the trunk with amps. Oh, forgot the fart can and lambo doors, no tuner worth it's paint job would be caught without those.

The show is more about all vehicles stock or modified, new or old. One of the best shows I've been to is Jimmy's Picnic and it has every type of car you can think of. Everyone one gets along and shows off what they are proud of.

This show is meant to have Lexus, Acura and Infiniti but I wanted to see some of the Heritage cars there also. This has also grown to some American cars will be there, Volkswagons, my Datsun and others.

After I modified my Roadster there were less then 6 cars in my modified category at Shasta. Its been a few years since I've been able to attend Shasta but I know this category has grown a lot!!!! Some of the idea's Ive had came from newer modifications. ( I would LOVE to do suicide doors someday).

And that is really what it's all about. Owners that are proud of their cars. Even the lambo'd door, candy paint, water fall in the trunk Scion owner is proud of their ride...can't knock that even if you disagree with the style.
I organized a group of roadsters/datsuns to attend the JDM Theory show in S.F. a few years ago. It is traditionally a Honda "tuner" show. Everyone had a good time. It's our duty to show our cars at non-roadster shows!

The irony is "that crowd" can be traced to "our" crowd. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you,
Mark's worst nightmare at the local "tuner" car show:

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

We have a pretty interesting group of cars and it would be great to have another roadster there.

If you think you can make it please register, we are getting near maximum capacity. Even though we could have 2 roadster per space for every normal car.

Wait a minute there...As Tonto said to the Lone Ranger.."What do you mean "WE".....?

Those cars look like the results of a 3 day acid trip in a junkyard, and they were sniffing the glue used to assemble them. I'll leave out the fashion choices and driving style. I'd rather a Smart Car, no wait, I'd rather a skateboard.
Love the oilcooler install on this one
