September 15th 2009 is Mr K's 100th birthday. Watkins Glen is the weekend before, Sept 11 and 12th.
What a great excuse for a multi location event on the 12th. A few webcams and we are a go!

On Sunday September 20, 2009 from 10:00am-3:00pm It’s "A trip down memory lane with Mr. K"

There will be movies and talks regarding those who were touched by this beautiful soul

Also we will have; Silent Auctions for Mr. K memorabilia

Mr. K will be honored at a special event in Japan Sept 6th. As a show of appreciation from all of us Datsun fans in the US, we are collecting photos of people's beloved Datsuns and these will be presented to Mr. K during this special event. With everyone watching, we want there to be 100s! of photos of you and your U.S. Datsuns presented to Mr. K!

From the pre-registrations that have come in so far it does not give us a very good indication as to how many we can expect to show up. If you don't pre-register please be sure to show up and register on site. This is the very first Car Show the museum has ever put on and we would like it to be a good showing of Datsuns.

Ok, I have a car count for the Mr. K Commemoative Car Show this Saturday. We have a lot of Zs showing up, a some Roadsters, some trucks but only a few 510s??? and fewer other sedans (B210, 110, and so on...) Where are you guys? You can regester when you show up. Onsite registration cut off is at 11:00am
