Shasta Tshirts and Midwest Run Thanks

Post by mkiisupra »

Also posted on the 'major-domo' list serv. Sorry if you read it twice.

The Twenty-Fifth Shasta Datsun Meet is ONE week away!!

I will be printing up some tee shirts and a few polos for Shasta's twenty-fifth this year. I put together a design for the dash plaque and used similar art for the tees. Pricing will be about $20 for tees and $25 for polos. If there is much interest, I know the pricing for tees will decrease to about $18.

Here are the links to the front and back designs.

If you would like a polo type shirt (no promises on pockets, sorry) email me by Monday the size and I will have it for you (also, polo types, if you just want the front design only screened, please specify)

Again Monday is printing day, I will only have a limited number available (40 or less), if you need a 'special' size (L - XXL will be available at show) email me, or pm me on the 311s.org site (please don't bomb the list serv, only mkiisupra@hotmail.com) and I will attempt to accomodate as well as I can.

Also, as I return to The Golden/IOU State, I wanted to thank Tim Putland and his merry gang of roadsterites in the Midwest. It was a blast running the hills and flats of the midwest and to appreciate the 'Dry' heat of the Central Valley of CA. I have posted photos of our fun at http://www.pbase.com/egillis/midwest_roadster_run_09

There are also a couple of photos for those folks I met that weekend of my Roadster at the Modesto American Graffiti Show two weeks previous.

Enjoy your ride,

Eric, It was great that you joined us on our Midwest Run. Glad you had a good time, we enjoyed it also (except for the heat) but it was great to meet other roadster owners. Looking forward to this again...

Shasta 25th T-Shirt SECOND ORDER!!

Post by mkiisupra »

Thanks so much for the support shown last weekend at Mt. Shasta by all!!

So much that I ran out of t-shirts and polos and took orders at Shasta!

Printing date is next Friday, the 24th for the second and last batch of Shasta shirts!!

If you want one and DIDN'T talk to me at Shasta, email or pm me to place an order. DO THIS BY WEDNESDAY of this week to ensure your order. For those who talked with me, you can use paypal, send in $20 (partially cover paypal/shipping/packaging costs) to egillis@ceres.k12.ca.us at paypal. Polos will be $23 by paypal or money order/check. I will cover local (us) shipping, but it will be first class postage, split any long distance shipping costs. I apologize for the shift in pricing, packaging and shipping was a bit more than I expected, if you are picking them up locally, the price is the original $18 and $22.

There are a select group (about 3) of you who ordered before Shasta and didn't attend Shasta last week, your shirts are here and awaiting shipment as soon as I get to the post office next week.

On a related note, Phyllis has announced that the Modesto Datsun Shasta Group has some dash plaques and event compasses available for purchase. She and I are finalizing payment and shipment details, but pricing is $5.00 for a plaque and $10.00 for a compass.

Close ups and other Shasta 2009 photos are posted at

http://www.pbase.com/egillis/mt_shasta_2009" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I will work on some more event shirts next year, and I have a couple of unique designs in mind for datsuns/roadsters in general. I heard several comments about the polar bear 09 t-shirt (with the purple roadster and exploded diagram of a solex in the background) and will incorporate similar design elements in upcoming offerings.

Thanks again,
Enjoy the ride!!

Eric,

Please update when you get the shipping info worked out. I like the compass! Is it a known maker or brand X?

Anyone got any of those compasses? I got an e-mail of who to contact, and did so, but have not received a reply.
