Hey All

Post by bivt »

Just like to introduce myself. I have been lurking for a while and am about to pull the trigger on a 69 SRL. Great community of roadster fans. I bought a 69 in 1978 when I was 20, and now I am trying to reclaim my lost and wasted youth. lol
Any good roadster mechanincs in the greater LA area? I am going to need a lot of help.

Thanks

Welcome. You will have many options in the LA area. Much knowledge and many cars. Enjoy!

You'll be literally tripping over Roadster parts, events and owners, at least in comparison to my end of the country :D .
Where did you find the car?

Hello biv,
Congrats on your car purchase and welcome.
There is a Roadster group for So Cal you might want to check out. See the "Clubs" link.
Where do you live? Some of us in the Valley get together for help and support.
Lots of parts around too that we can point you to.
Post pics of your car as you restore it if you can.

Linda
Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

No kidding! Here in Cheyenne I think there are exactly 2 SRL311's, mine and gboone's, and one guy with a 1600.

Congrats on the new old car!
