I think we'll shoot for 12:00, earlier if I can. Gary, Is it better for you to leave early, or is traffic the same whatever time?

That depends on the Yankees and Mets home game schedules. I have to be careful both going and coming home that I plan around the ballpark traffic.
Normally on a Saturday an early start is better.

Just checked the schedules........Mets are away but the Yankees have a 1:05 game Saturday which means I have to get going a little earlier......I guess if I leave around 10:00 I should be fine.

Gary

If you follow my directions you should not be anywhere near Yankees Stadium. Once over the Whitestone Bridge , clear sailing.

You just want to go to Costco for paper towels and toilet paper.

Well heck... it is on the way! Not sure if I will have $ left after I fill the cart with Guinness and Belgium beers. Anyone need any TP?

Vince, great time, great people, and iffy weather (but no rain), as always. Mark drove up from Baltimore, and George came all the way from Canada! I especially enjoyed the "breakfast beer", an Espresso Stout.

Had a great time too. The beer was great, too bad I had to drive. The host and guests were all great.
I hope to make this trip again next year. The drive thru NY state just begs to be done in a roadster.
Gary, didn't do any shopping, just drove thru and did the tourist thing which was just fine by me.
Hope to see all you guys and gals in the Glen this September.

So sorry I missed the outing this year! I had committed to go canoeing/camping over the weekend - which was 'interesting' as you can imagine what with the less than perfect weather.

Most certainly would have rather been with the roadster crowd but whatchUgonnado. I haven't seen Wes in a while either.
