header bar repair

Does anyone know of who might be good at repairing the header bar for my '69 2000 convertible top frame? TIA Pat Mahoney

Pat,

Do you mean the front bow? Scott, did his own. He sent me pictures a long time ago. I think he brazed it back together. You could probably take it into a local welding shop strippped and ready for repair and get it done reasonably. There is not that much too it.

I had a late header bow repaired a while back by a local auto body guy. It came out fantastic. The only thing to watch for is that they get the curve right. If they don't, then you have wasted a lot of time and money...
