New shoes!!

Post by CWhip »

Just got the new tires on the rims last night and I'm pretty happy with the results. Swazi rims off a 83 zx and 195/50/R15 tires. The rims, when I bought them, had 215/60/R15 that rubbed like crazy, not good! I'm thinking of blacking out the center of the rims and leaving a beauty ring on the edge. (Thanks Dave, for putting that idea in my head!! ) What do you guys think? Also, I'm not sure what to do about the center caps for the front, they won't fit on all the way around, suggestions?

Photo slopped. Center caps are tough. Take one to an old time wheel shop or junkyard and see what you can find 4 of. What is the hole measurement at the outside face, and is the hole bigger on the inside?

195/50/15 works best, and leave the spokes alone! Maybe paint the surfaces in between black?
You can use aftermarket caps of different lengths:
