hello to all, newbie here in the buckeye state. (OHIO) back some years ago a buddy had a roadster (about 30yrs or more ) i now have the time and money to get one,just cant seem to find one. had my brother look at some in calfornia, looks like they either want to much or are just parts cars.

Th other day I saw on Craigs List a 1970 2000 for sale in Medina, Ohio. I do not know if it is still available. IIRC he needed tio get rid of it to make room in his garage. It did not look to bad from the pictures. It was Craigs list out of Cleveland.
May be give it a look.

Thanks all, Mike still has his roadster the blue one, trying get up there this weekend. i do think he wants just to much money for a non-running roadster. also has been a little cool here in OHIO,56 today 22 tomorrow. Thanks again

ok guys, going to look at the blue roadster on saturday. it is a car from the rustbelt give me some signs to look for. he told me the timing chain broke in the fall of 1986 (last time running) does have a spare 69 2000 engine. not sure about trans. please any help

Seriously, review the information on this site, figure out if you want early low-windshield/flat dash model, or the late high-windshield model. Additionally, unless you're looking for a long-time project, pay as much as you can for as complete a car as you can find. I passed on a $4k driver for a $2.5 project. 4 years later, I'm almost to $4k and the car still sits on jackstands.

The red 66 is mine, on Ebay. It's not a bad car at all, and it runs and drives. In reality, put in an interior and drive it, fix it next winter. I have a local guy supposed to look tomorrow, and Ebay ends Sunday.
