Pre 67.5 - +10 thru +15?

Post by kentq »

Is there anyone running 6" or 6.5" wheels with offset in the +10 thru +15 range (195 width tires) on their pre 67.5 cars? If so, do the fronts actually fit under the "flair" or do they extend beyond?

Kent,
I am running 280ZX Turbo wheels which are 15x6 +12 with 185/65/15 tires on a '66.
There isn't much roon between the tire and rear fender, but lots of room at the front.

There are several other roadsters running these wheels, don't know what size tires tho.....

All of the 15x6 Panasports in roadster fitment(+15) stick past the front fender with 195/50 tires on '66 cars.
Lower offset sticks out even further.
Check out the blue '66 in the middle!

280zx wheels(14x6 +12 offset) also stick out on a '67:

Thanks guys! I'm running 15x6 Panasports w/195-50-15s now but had been checking the club4ag classifieds for quite awhile for something different (thanks for being patient with my questions Victor!) but did not find anything that, in my opinion, would look right on our cars. Although the fronts are not a perfect fit on my car and they are a common sight on the Roadsters, I do still love the Panasports. While looking for 4x98 bolt pattern 13" rims for a friend's recently aquired Fiat Spider, I've realized how lucky we are with the "numerous" choices we have!
