The FJ20 engine was fitted to domestic Silvias only I believe.

Yeah, I've started getting FJ20 on the brain since I saw two of 'em at Canby 2008.

My son has a 1983 DR30 Skyline
DR30 after repaint.JPG
It is referred to as the "Iron Mask" body style, drop down hood panel and letter box air intake.
He has fitted a Haltech E6 ECU to the car now and has some huge Watanabe rims on it.
I don't get to drive it much but it is a real hoot when it is on BOOST :twisted: :twisted:

Oz didn't get the DR30 either, they are all ex Japan as permitted imports.
The MR30 Skyline that was released here was an asthmatic L24 with fuel injection.
That was NUTHIN' to write home about :roll: :roll:

The S12 Silvia had both the CA18ET and FJ20 engines in Europe. Here's a norwegian FJ20 powered S12 currently in storage:
