Miller Motor Sports Park

Post by Skyman »

Just wondering if any racers are going to, or have raced at the new Miller Motor Sports Park? I hear it's a great track. Can't wait to get mine out there next year.

We have an event there every year, but it is an 11 hour tow to get there....with gas prices, it will hurt your feelings and your wallet just to get there....

Have fun, I have heard that it is a great track and I would like to make it out there.

I haven't had the roadster on track yet,
(hopefully soon)?

But I have been running my MR2 at Miller for SCCA track days,
NASA track days and the GT Live event for the last couple years.
I have sponsored the Toyota MR2 corral at the GT Live event
each summer at Miller. Wonderful racing facility.
REAL garages, all paved paddock area, REAL restrooms,
shaded grand stands, lots of parking area.

Great fun, safe, smooth track.
Can be run in 4 different configurations.
Will be even better once the landscaping takes hold and starts to grow.

I will be running and working at Miller this coming weekend (Oct 18 & 19)
with the Utah Region SCCA for a club trials event
(running laps in traffic, but no timed races).
It's not too late to sign up.

Miller has it's own race series and this weekend
is their final race of the season.
The SCCA club trials event runs laps as the 4th group in the race rotation
both Sat and Sun. So when we are not on track,
their are always other races to watch.

Miller also has a kart track on the other side of the paddock
and Sat will be a kart race also.
Always lots of events going on at this track already
and it's only been open about 3 years now.

Utah Region SCCA forum has details on their club trials event,
$150 - $165 per day, four track sessions per day.
Great way to jump in and get some on track experience.
