Retro Z car concept from Polish Designer

Post by FergO2k »

While I have little faith in the discussion of revival of the Datsun name, I do like the styling lines of this new concept. I never realized the styling influences on the BMW Z4 that resemble the 1st gen Z, I had always thought of them more Cobra Daytona Coupe influenced.

take a look. I think with 2 street car models and a stripped down, suitably powered (G35?) R model, (that was supported by a Nismo catalog) this would be a good trend for Nissan.

Cool rendering - I have it on my computer desktop at work - red one on the left monitor, silver on the right.

I really hope they never revive the Datsun brand. Let sleeping marques lie. The general public doesn't remember Datsun. Besides, it would suck to do seraches on craigslist and ebay and get "new" car results!

That looks to me like Z meets DB7.
