Awfully quiet for a rotary.
Not much room under a roadster for the required pre silencers AND large muffler needed to keep them that quiet.

Those are probably peripheral port motors. Pretty distintive sound!

Maybe the word is an east or northeast thing.
A "rotary" is a traffic circle. The three of us are powering through with stock engines -- two Solex 2Ls behind me in a stock 1600.

Yeah, rotary traffic circles are rare on the West Coast. I remember when they put one on Bainbridge Island years ago. Confused the hell out of the locals. They really make sense and work well once you understand 'em.
