0 new messages, -1 unread messages

That is what my in box states. What gives?

Also, there are times (like now) where a section will show highlighted as if it has unread posts, but there are no unread posts...

That's a feature, not a bug.

I miss being able to use HTML. It would also be nice after clicking View new posts to display the number of new posts on top.

...but I'm picking nits here. Overall, the phpBB v3.0 rocks!

As mysteriously as it arrived, it departed. Now it says 0 new messages.
