Stoopid Question

Post by DatsunBucky »

I know, I know...

The answer will probably become obvious as I tear into this, but just in case, I figured I'd ask.

Along with some other "goodies", I got my comp rear springs today, and one of the eyes has a bushing in it, and the other end doesn't. Which goes in the front and which goes in the back? Eyeballing the spring, it looks like each end is the same as the other.

So, like I said, it will probably be readily apparent when I get the old springs out, but how about it? Anybody want to take a stab at this?

In advance, thanks, y'all.

Thanks, Alvin. I knew someone here would have that info.

I do have a floorjack, and planned on using that to support the 3rd member while the car's up on jackstands. No way I was going to try to muscle that thing around! I'm waiting on the front springs from Mike Young, should be getting here in the next day or two. Gee, only another year or two and I should be able to drive it!

Also, anyone have any experiences (good or bad) with shox.com?

p.s. I'll also be taking pictures and posting where to look at them when I'm done...just in case anyone's interested.

Bump.

Anyone have any experiences with shox.com? Good? Bad? Second-hand info? Anything?
