New owner in SoCal

Post by nick73 »

Hi everybody
My name is Nick Norton and I'm a new(and proud) 69 1600 owner.Yippee!!! I live in SoCal. I purchased my roadster in Mar 08 and have finished all paint and body work, stripped, cleaned, checked everything and I am starting to buy all the expensive bits and pieces. I'm looking forward to corresponding with everyone and hope to to be seeing everyone at fun runs by next August. I have restored Brit and Italian cars in the past and I must say that the Datsun is by far the easiest, most thought out and well engineered car I have ever worked on. Thanks in advance for all the help from you"experts".
PS This is a fantastic forum. Much better than the Healey or Fiat counterparts.

Welcome Nick. Post some pics for us sometime. It seems there are a lot of folks joining from the left.............er  .......west coast. Y'all have lots of opportunities to get together out there. Here in Texas, roadster owners seem to be few and far between. At any rate, this is a great forum. Have a great day! 8)
