not fair...I want those wheels!!!
The wheels are 15x7 15mm offset Watanabe RS-8s. Fronts are 15x6.5 21mm offset with a 1/4" spacer to clear the front brake calipers.
Are those re-finished seats?
The seats are a set that were originally in the car. They need to be re-done (I have a set that I am going to do in black vinyl) but there is just not enough time before Shasta to get that done... still, these will be good enough for now.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Linda,

If you are talking about new catalytic converters, they are actually quite cheap via the aftermarket. The one I used is commonly found for less than $75.

Alvin, Alvin, Alvin... of course they are functional! I will post a photo tonight.

The teardrop side marker lights are one of my favorite design features on the roadster series. I wanted to keep a JDM look with this car so it was a "must" after I found a NOS set of marker lights in Japan.

This car had zero rust and the undercoat was in very good condition, so I just refreshed the underside of the car with a couple quarts of Rustoleum-- a nasty job, but is sure looks good now.
RUSTOLEUM???!!!! Does Bruce know that?

How are the teardrops JDM?

I was out of Zero Rust and had a couple quarts of the other stuff.... so, I won't tell if you won't.

The US market only got the teardrop side markers for the 69 model year. Not so in Japan where they were found on all models of the roadster, including the 1500s! Here is a great shot of a 1500 with the teardrop side markers:

And an early 1600:

Even the Silvia Coupes used them:

Here is a nice shot of the 66' at speed on the return trip home from Shasta:

We are having LOTS of fun with the car. It has barely had time to cool off in the last few weeks.

The paint looks great. What brand of paint was used? Kind of a blue/grey color almost too, Very nice.

The color is as close as I could find to the original 531 Beige Gray Metallic.

If you go to a paint store today, they will give you Centari paint, but my painter did not want to use that. After pouring over paint books for hours, I found a Volvo color that is nearly a perfect match. Here is a comparison shot with Stan's beige gray 67.5 in the background:

Image

As you can see, they are very close!
