Hello All,
I am in the middle of taking a 1968 1600 to a KA24de swap.
I have rebuilt a few cars mostly Sunbeams (Tigers, Alpines, Imps and Minxs)
I like old cars, but like old cars more that can make passes with on mountains roads arounds RV'ers. Thus the swap.
Cheers,
~Robert

I do have a question about the use of "messages".
I sent a PM , got a reply. Then I replied to that reply.

Now I have a message in "SentBox" the orginal message, a message in Inbox, the original reply, and a message in "Outbox", my reply.
What are all these "Boxes"? What is the difference between "Outbox" and "SentBox"?

Hey Robert,
Welcome to the looney bin. All questions welcomed, no such thing as a "dumb" one, we all had them.

I grew up in Stockton, and spent a lot of time up Arnold way, so know Angels Camp well. I'd kill to be driving those roads (especially Murphy's Grade Road) in a roadster rather than the lumbering trucks, family wagons, and VW vans that I used to back then.

Sunbeam Imps! wow, that is eclectic, I love it. I am sure some of your experiences will benefit us all.

Pasing RV'ers, yep, I felt your pain, the KA24DE and 3.9 rear end is just the ticket.

Sentbox is what you have sent. The Outbox means you hit send, but your connection aborted, or something happened to hang things up, so that message has never been sent / received. Go to the Outbox, check the box next to that message, and look for a "Send Now" button. If that doesn't work, copy the text and send it again.

Welcome!

Hey Robert, Welcome!
Whenever I send a pm it seems to stay in the "outbox" until it is picked up then it moves over to "Sent box". I think sometimes as Fergus says it hangs up but I found that it hangs up and them moves over. I may be wrong (would not be the first time) but it just seems that way

Good idea to clean out the mail boxes too if you have hit "full" otherwise you can't receive any messages.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.
