Dates for Solvang and Shasta

Post by Dicksonauto »

Does anyone know the dates for the Solvang and Shasta runs? Where is a good place to stay in Shasta?

Any other dates I should know about?

Thanks for any input.
Erik

Some people drive to go from point A to point B, I go from Point A to point B so I can drive.

April is a busy month

Solvang is April 25/26. Shasta is usually the weekend after the 4th, but check with... hmm, Modesto group, who are the host-ers, I think?

One other "gotta" target on my calendar is the Iron Bottom, April 10-12.

Thanks for the info. I am adding Iron Bottom to the list of things to do this year. I think it is the same week as spring break for my kids and everyone needs a road trip. Or if they dont go, I can take a friend.

Shasta is July 12

The Shasta meet is scheduled for July 12 this year. There is motel information on the Calendar page of nowroc.org. I just tried to make a reservation and they would not take it until March.

Well, there's the Hood River (Oregon) BBQ in April, Canby (Oregon) in June, MotoringJ (NoCal) in ???, JCCS (Long Beach) in ???, and I believe someone has a No Frills Tour setup in CA to kinda-sorta replace the All Datsun Shasta Meet that is no more.

This should have it's own thread as it does not have anything to do with Solvang or Shasta, does it?
Could get missed otherwise.
