I went with 184/60/14 Falken. My offset isn't perfect, so didn't want to push the limits. It's rumored that 205's will fit the rear with perfect offset, but I never saw it.

I'd say you didn't want "push it". I think you would have been safe with a 185.dbrick wrote:I went with 184/60/14 Falken. My offset isn't perfect, so didn't want to push the limits. It's rumored that 205's will fit the rear with perfect offset, but I never saw it.

There is no set size. 195/60-14 will usually fit, fender flare ride height and wheel offset are factors. I went with the 185 for 3 reasons
1 in stock
2 on sale for $25.00 less than the 195
3 wheel offset a bit too far outboard.
IMHO If you want to play it safe, go with the 185/60 , I doubt there will be any issues. If you want to go with max size, you could get two tires mounted first, either 185 or195 and try them front and rear. If there is more room in the rear, go bigger on the other 2.

well i could mount just about anything right now, the body is sitting on the trailer in the back yard and the frame is in the garage!. i can get a 195 cheaper right now, funny how that seems to be the driving factor for us
