Not a roadster but close enough

Rory from Hood River here. I have a 67 411 sss, automatic(not for long)with twin 40mm solex, i'm also a early datsun member (Hi Pete!) I am an orphan of sorts, so hoping to get some tips on the r 16. Car is on the road but i have some issues to sort out, looking forward to bouncing some ideas.

Besides Sid, Mark is referring to a new 311s.org member in Puyallup (south of Tana and me) who was asking about putting an automatic in a roadster since his wife can no longer drive a clutch:

Hey Pete, I'll keep you posted on the tranny. I think i just spun a bearing (noisy when i step on the gas) i have a spare motor with a 4 speed so i might be doing the swap soon! if it's done in time then yes i'll be going to canby.
