I just installed a 1-1/8" sprint car torsion bar as my front swaybar. I contemplated using a blade style end. They are really really tough to bend. I ended up using a weld it yourself kit from speedway. I think it would be pretty straight forward to mount in the original location. I bought a 1-1/8" swaybar bushing kit which could easily be adapted to fit in the stock location. My swaybar is now located above the frame rail and attaches to the back side of the lower a-arm. I haven't raced with it yet. We'll see next weekend.

Will I am not so sure it is the front of your car that is the problem, and actually looking at the pictures you forwarded I would say it is the back of your car that is the problem.
Let's talk at Solvang.

Ron,
I'm all ears for making the car better. As for the track event, from what I was hearing from my friend Dan (aka DATZOOM) the car was amazing and didn't show any real weakness through the corners. Apparently it didn't show any of the understeer issues that you speak of. I think the last run of the autoX was just bad luck. I have talked to a few people up here who run V710s and everyone said they never turn off like they did on me. No one had any ideas as to why it exhibited the "I'm not going to stick at all" syndrome that it did. I'm told they only loose about 1 second between new and corded.
I will track you down however.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!
