Knobs and what are they...

Post by ramfan14 »

Ok we have read through here and know that the T knob is obviously the throttle lock...
I have a 1968 Datsun Roadster 1600 that has the radio that goes up and down...
What are the knobs on the console? I know that the top one is the fan control. The second one says s/brake..what is that? The next one says Flash...we assume that this is the flashers but the electrical for it has been cut and is not hooked up. Then the 4th slot has a solid bolt in it at the time...is this possibly where the original choke was? If not, then where was the original choke? They had it mounted under the steering wheel..I am pretty certain that this isn't original.
Thanks for your help!

The knobs are for your heater fan, your flashers (hazards) and the S brake... That is a neat little feature that simply checks to see that your brake warning light works. You pull it, the brake light turns on. That is its entire reason for life.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!
