Finally - newbie status official
Hey everyone - I've been on these forums for a few months or more now, but just recently got my roadster. First one, and I'm pretty excited. Bought it from a fellow roadster enthuasist from this board, and he took great care of it. I plan on doing the same of course - just can't wait until spring/summer now!
Here are a few pictures - haven't taken any yet since I got it, so these are from the previous owner... Looking forward to taking my own pics in the near future (waiting for some sun!).

Was on e-Bay recently down in Oregon...south if I recall.
Nice looking car, I did refer it to a couple of people who drooled but admitted that $ limitations on their end caused them to pass it by with sniffles.
Definitely post more pics.
Pete Peters is up in your neck of the woods. You might give him a jingle and show off the car and make him get off his bum and get his going. (Haha, sorry Pete, couldn't resist!)
Canby OR show in Springtime, then Blue Lake and Meeting of the Mindz in Fall, keep those in mind.

Congrats!
If I'm not mistaken, that car has the head from my '69 2000's original engine.

It definitely runs strong. I've taken it out a few times in the last couple of weeks...that is, until the monsoons hit and flooded everything.

Love you, too, amigo.EScanlon wrote:Pete Peters is up in your neck of the woods. You might give him a jingle and show off the car and make him get off his bum and get his going. (Haha, sorry Pete, couldn't resist!)

Seriously, this weather, the creeping crud I've been nursing for several weeks, and various other life events and excuses have kept me away from the wrenches too long.
On the plus side, I'm finally working again and treated myself to an early Christmas present: new rotors from Lou. Price was too good to pass up. Still focusing on the 411 and getting the garage (actually, an enclosed one-car carport) insulated and heated in order to work on some of the project list.
Gotta have one Datsun running for Canby 2008!
One possible problem: guy around the block from me is hinting he may part with his '89 Skyline GT-R. Uh-oh....
