Me again! I am putting all the hoses in their proper place and since I put the gasoline container directly on the pump when I started the engine (those 20 seconds of glory!!!), now I am confused with the arrangement.
There are 2 lines coming from the tank, one thicker, one thinner. The thinner one seems to go to the filter(gas), the thick one seems to go straight to the rear carb!?! the set up as I thought, was tank to pump, pump to filter, filter to carb.
But the front carb has an inlet facing the rear one, and one facing the front of the car (where are these going?). Then, what is the correct route of the gasoline then???????

Jorge, Congrats on getting your car going! That is a great moment when it roars to life!
The connections should go like this, if I remember correctly!
Fuel tank to filter to pump to front carb, the other side of the T on the front carb connects directly to the rear carb with a short piece, then the last connection is from the back of the rear carb to the tank...
Good Luck! TR

Thank you very much! Just one quick question....the valve that comes out of one of the float bowls....is it the one that you say goes back to the tank, or is the valve supposed to be on the front carb"s bowl? It was originaly on the carb witht the vaccumm fitting that hooks to the distributor, so I assume it's the rear carb?!?!?!?!?!

The valve has to go on the rear carb. What it does is to allow fuel above a certain pressure to return to the tank. If you put it on the front carb, the rear would only get gas intermittently...
