Hi, everyone! I'm new to this forum, but not new to roadsters. I've owned my 64 3 seater since I bought it from my Dad in 1969. I guess that makes me an almost original owner or just plain old!
I need some serious help to get to Shasta. My problem is, I can't get my car to run without backfiring. Sometimes it's through the carbs, sometimes through the exhaust. At the moment, however, I can't even get it to start. (If it's not one thing, it's another!)
Does anyone know how to test a starter? and does it matter that my car is positive ground?
Thanks!
Patti

I would suggest you contact Les Cannaday in North County San Diego. He is close by and should be able to help you get your Roadster going.

Re:Newby
Welcome Patti. Do not be afraid to ask questions of the group. Some one will have an answer for you. That is pretty cool that you have owned that baby for all these years. Enjoy.
