Datsun roadsters only, please.

What's the most wild engine swap you've seen done into one of these cars?
Use your own definition of wild. Horsepower? Exotic engine? Attention to detail? Mega-Bucks? whatever.

I'd like to see pics, too, if you've got 'em.

This is mostly for the fun of it. I'd like to see what's out there.
(and I've got my own project ramping up... and I think it's fairly wild too...)

1) Mark Sedlack's Chevy V6 swap...his fabrication alone is insane:
http://www.mildevco.net/chevypowereddatsuns/
2) Forgot the name but there is a guy here doing a Nissan 300zx Twin-Turbo (Z32) swap, and an IRS
3) Andy Cost's autocross beast with a Supercharged KA24DE, and tube frame chassis

Someone has to do a Chevy LSx swap, that would be insane.

I nominate Don Miller. VG30ET. 450 HP. I can't find a photo. I'm not sure where the car is now. He sold it a few years back.

I've always wanted to do an ecotec 1400cc diesel with propane injection. Another cool swap would be the Millenia miller cycle 2.3 liter v6. Just change the cams and compression ratio and you would have a cool high horsepower supercharged otto.

Bolt on modification? I did use some bolts!

Someone up here took a 1967 1600 and made it fully electric. Used the stock tranny, just bolted a big electric motor to it, and put the batteries where the trunk and gas tank were. Looked pretty neat, and apparently got around 80 miles to the charge. Now if I can just get her to sell me the old engine!

It was apparently finished about 2 months ago as a high school shop project here in Anchorage.

If you can get any info, there's a recent thread about doing that.

Unfortunately, I don't have any more information. I heard about the car at a car show, and was able to see it for about 10 minutes one afternoon (it was pouring, so I didn't dally).

Hopefully I'll run into it again next summer, and be able to get further information and some pictures.
