I don't think that Prodviagrashki is a real user...
Its been a while since I did the registration process, but what type of security measures are in place to prevent spam? Visual confirmations work well for most websites - its a string of letters that you have to enter when registering. Spam bots cannot usually see them.
Here's a discussion or two on the topic:

Let me know if you need help finding solutions. You really shouldn't have to deal with spam... unless its on the end of your fork.
Odd user name...

Yeah, that guy was a spammer. We got him during the registration process. When you look at the "Newest Registered User" line at the bottom of the forum page, the name it shows you is who most recently submitted a registration for a user name and password. It does not mean they have been approved! When I search on that name you gave, there's no record of it which means we zapped him.
On average we get anywhere from 5 to 25 new account requests a day. I'd say 95% of them are bogus. We could definitely use some tricks up our sleeve to deal with these jerks. I'll PM Steve and make sure he checks those links out.
Oh, and just in case we approve someone who turns out to be a spammer, PM me, Steve, or Shifty immediately if you get spam type PMs or posts!

Last job I had, we had a client with the name Rick Cocker. Poor guy was contantly having his email trapped by anti-spam programs.nking79 wrote:I feel sorry for any Datsun owners with the last name of Viagra... they'll never be able to register!
