This was my first roadster run and will not be the last….. When we first drove off from the meeting site my first impression was, Dwarfed, midget, elf have gone wild. As you know modern cars are bigger then our roadster so for someone have not seen a pack of roadsters driven down the street you would have the same thought, A pack of dwarf have gone wild.
I did not finish the route due to engine problem however I did manage to drive home safely…. I had a great time, enjoyed those twisty roads, great folks, and now I know what my car is capable in terms of distance wise.
Looking forward for another run, this time I hope to finish the route, I hope
Anyway here are some pictures I take hope you guys enjoy it….

Interesting....not a single running flat dash roadster in SoCal?
Any story to go along w/ the roadside repair?

Excellent run
That road from Frazier Park to Taft was intense. A great turnout and sorry to see a few drop, but better luck next time.
I took out my 68 for her first time actual run (shes been around town for a few minths now) and she survived. Found out I probably have a gas tank pickup tube problem. Uphill starved for gas, downhill- bat out of hell!
Check this. Somewhere on the way home my alternator loosened up. This vibrated the bottom water pump bolt loose and slowly leaked out all my water. I didn't discover it until the next day when I went for a post-drive inspection. Time for a passanger side alternator swap?
Thanks Fergus and friends.
