quick ? on 14" rims
I'm thinking of getting a set of SSR Long champs locally for my car that I've yet to get started on but it's too good of a deal to pass up. anyways I'm wondering if they would fit and what size tire you could run on them. fronts are a 14.6.5 with a +7 offset and back are a 14x7 with a +1. The cars going to have a ka motor in it with either ITB's or a Supercharger I have both but cant decide. Any input would be great.

If the wheels are available locally, test fit them!
The offset on those wheels is really low, especially in back with a 7" wide wheel.
Victor Laury is running some LC's on his 2000, pm him for fitment specs:

I bet you won't have enough offset to clear in the rear. I have a set of 14/6.5 +9 offset Hayashi's on my car now and with 195/60/14s they rub the inner fender. I even got in there with a sledge hammer and pounded the areas that had rubbed to buy some more clearance but they still rub a little. Those wheels look cool but make sure you can clear the tires in the rear before you buy.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!
With the rear fender lips rolled, you'd be fine with the 14x6.5 +7's on the rear with just about any 195/60 series tire - I've run both Azenis and Hoosier's on that rim and not had problems. The 14x7 +1 will be a problem on the rear. It'd be fine on the front though. It's a little unorthodox to run the wider rim up front but with the same size tire on both ends, it wouldn't have any negative impact to run the 7's up front and the 6.5's at the rear. You just can't rotate the tires with that arangement. You could also likely find someone to trade a pair of 6.5's for the 7's at club4ag.com or takumi project.

Every car is a little different. All I can say for sure is How big is your Shoehorn? Its going to be a tight fit. I can say that with my Falkens on the Hayashis, I can't clear a pencil between the tire and inner fender. I can't even force the pencil to fit without breaking it.
