Post by millertime »

This is Datsun Roadster I found in a Magazine which I bought on E-bay. I thought it would be fun to post some pics and see what people thought. here are the specs on this car and a link.

Datsun Roadster

Channeled Body, Z-ed frame, rolled rear pan, chopped '32 commercial grill, chopped windsheild and short roll bar.
L series 2000cc street engine, SSS 10:1 head with polished ports and an Isky cam, two 35mm Solex Carbs

I know its a bit off topic but since they called a Datsun roadster I thought I could sneak it by.

Side note:
they took it out to the Bonneville flats in 1977 and established a new record for the G/street Roadster class at 115.786 mph. not bad for a Datsun :)

RE:Datsun Roadster Hot Rod

I am not really into the hot rod scene but I like it. The L20B was a popular swap for the 510's and even a few roadsters. There are still quite a few bolt on performance parts for that motor as well. Interesting.

I have seen that before. I dig it! Don't let the safety Nazi's see it though - that roll bar is not up to race spec and they may have a problem with it. Some silliness about it being too low to do any good....
