Well, that must have been too easy...
What a cool little car. They should try to release that here now since smaller cars are becoming popular. Don't know if they could meet safety standards, though. Must be a fun little car. 75hp 1liter turbo and about 1800lbs.

They must be fairly cheap to import because I've already seen 4 or five zipping around my area. Some were even seen the during winter months.
Maybe these are an alternative to all the Smartcars that have just come out from winter hibernation.

I could see myself driving this little guy before most other cars that get 40mpg. Only 20,000 ever made so they'd definitely be a collectors' item.

I didn't think you got them over there?
Far as I knew, they were Japan and UK only, and such a limited run that there was a ballot to decide who got to buy one.

No, it's definitely a special import. It was a right-hand drive. Probably doesn't meet our safety standards. I think I read somewhere that there was initially only 8,000 in the initial run and they added 12,000 to keep up with demand.
