The undercoat is GONE!!!

I want to say thank you to the friend that mentioned using Dissolve-It (or however it is written on the lable!) in this forum a while ago.....I used it to strip the undercoat -that thick tar- and it was a walk in the park!

Now it's all shinny, clean metal ready for some 21st century protection (POR-15). I did find a few rust pits on the driver's side floor area but it's easy to repair.

Where did you buy it? I have spent hours and hours stripping off undercoating before, and what a pain that was.

I'm always looking fo a tip that makes that job easier!

I bought it at K-Mart actually. I looked for it at Lowe's but they didn't have it. It's in a clear spray bottle in the paint solvents area....and believe me...it's worth the $6.oo per bottle. ( I used 3 bottles for the undercoat, and 1/2 for the inside of the front fenders
