Daryl Smith sent me this spreadsheet for calculating rpms and gear ratios. We have no idea who authored it so it is impossible to give that person credit. I will put it on the main web site but you can access it here directly at http://www.311s.org/gear_ratio_rpm.xls

Now I can see why a 4-speed tranny will be a challenge in racing at the bigger tracks...she'll be screamin' at the end of the straights on the rev limiter
